About Me

My Name is Gregory Kimani , am a young lad , brought up in a family of seven and the second born,i come from a middle class family in Africa and wish to become independent as i completed university education on April 2013 and graduated on December .I have all along been chipping in to help my parents sponsor my education throughout my education period into university through community work and through working during vacations , this has inspired me develop simple projects to sustain me in school always. In addition , i engage myself in income generating activities in order to meet the challenging life and that's why i started compiling articles related to my field of work (History) and then selling them to other institutions.Presently, i have embarked on agribusiness as i also study in school pursuing public policy and administration ,while studying i also engage in voluntary work where we are trained to educate the society on gender sensitivity, gender policy, gender based violence, drug and substance abuse.

My Business

Having completed university, i previously worked as a teacher under the board of governors in Muruaki Boys School at Nyandarua South District. There i had a teaching experience of both History and Swahili. Owing to students low self esteem i decided to engage on mentor-ship for high school students through their principals on careers, success, responsible living ,discipline and academic excellence at an affordable price. This helps the students to academically perform better than they were previously doing as well as raising their self esteem and hence impacting positively to the society where we have low levels of school drop outs ,students who have a hope and goals set.I am passionate public speaker and though i had few people to motivate me or act as role models, i decided that i was going to change the society by mentoring students in high school and lower schools.
Upon visiting a school, i request a sum of 30-40 dollars,as an appreciation fee and because it is not for commercial purposes. The profits received assist me in financing my postgraduate education which i undertake on a part-time basis.

Loan Proposal

With my new loan i wish to purchase a laptop worth around $300. The remaining amount approximately $17, on purchase of a modem to help keep me internet connected. The new device will help me to easily pursue my postgraduate studies as i can easily download materials, and aid my research. In addition, the laptop will help me carry out online freelance writing, which i will be able to do an average of six pages daily as well as attend evening classes. In this regard, if $2.5 is paid per page, the minimum daily earnings will be $15 per day, which will support me immensely throughout my education as well as aid in repaying my loan.Since am also passionate about public speaking,(encouraging students and members of the society on discipline, responsible living and success, the laptop will help me demonstrate power-point presentations as i deliver my addresses, I believe this laptop will be of great importance to me.
