About Me

I am Nartey Afutu John a Ghanaian living in the Afienya in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. i am 23 years old and a high school graduate. i am the third of six children. as a child, all i wanted to become was a navy but i lost that dream and due to financial constraints . but as a man and being the third of six children, idleness is not an option that i have so i took to help my dad in his mango farm. for now i have a building up my own farm my dad left me . i have been able to save a little and am working very hard to reach that dream with a targeted year. the greatest virtue that i have learn over the years is hardworking and integrity. i love to read and play foot ball and then also engage in a lot of church activities.

My Business

i am into the selling of the mango at every harvest time myself for the past two years now i have been selling the mango in my community. I have a very large area of land for my farm and I have been working so hard to always have a bumper harvest. Now chemicals to spray off the pests and fertilizers for good yield cost more than before and since the price the mango is regulated strictly by the control board, my profit is always not enough to get these things for my farm. I wish I could get help here to plant more mango trees to increase my profit margin so that I can acquire the necessary things needed for my farm.

Loan Proposal

I am looking forward to plant more mango trees to get more harvest during the harvest time. When I am granted the opportunity for this loan, I will $ 80.00 to purchase agro chemicals (fertilizers needed and pesticides since the scent of the mango attracts more insects to it). When I'm done I will use the $ 20.00 left to purchase simple tools needed. When all these become possible, my profit margin will increase and I can purchase the agro chemicals anytime after harvest.
