I was born in 1989 25 years ago in a village called kimumu iin moiben distriict of uasin gishu county.i began primary scholl in 1992 at moi uniiversity cheepkoilel primary school.in 2003 i sat my kcpe exams and attained 324marks.in 2004 i joined elgon view huigh schoolwhere i sat for my kcse in 2006 and atttained a meangrade of c+.after high school i went back home.while at home i attended a forum for women by an organisation known as BOMA where i learnt skills for poultry rearing.to date i continue with the business of rearing chicken for meat and eggs.i run the business as i continued with my education at moi university where i graduated in 2011 with a bachelors degree in education arts.currently am also a high school teacher though i have not been employed by the government.during my free time i love writing essays and scripts.i also love spending time in the farm.
As i had mentioned earlier i started my chicken business six years ago in kimumu estate.i love my business despite the challenges faced.apart from the financial benefits it has also been of help to the community in that women visit to learn about poultry keeping.it has really supported me and my family.in this business I earn profits through the sale of eggs, chicks and meat.the big challenge that am facing now is that am not able to meet the demand for chicks effectively. I therefore need to purchase an incubator to help me meet the rising demand for chicks so that I don't lose my customers.
My Loan Proposal
When I get this loan,it will help me improve on my poultry
project in
the following ways;,buying of an incubator estimated at 137 dollars,Despite the fact that I still need some more funds to improve on the housing of my poultry am
happy that through this loan I will be able to see some of the
following returns the loan will create; improved supply of quality chicks to meet the needs of my customers.
will help me get a bigger and better market
The returns will then help expand my project by increasing the
number of chicken and also employ a few people. I need support
because I can't afford single handedly to meet full financial
requirements of the project due to the increased costs of feeds ,drugs, paying for veterinary work and paying my worker this is
attributed to the high standard of living in my country.
