About Me

I am a young business oriented gentleman born in Kiamaina which is near Menengai Crater in Nakuru. My mother went to be with Lord in my early years and again sadly lost father in the year 2013. Luckily for me my two elder brothers had already established themselves and they took care of us. I am a husband with one lovely daughter. When I completed my secondary education in high school, I was mostly involved at looking at my brothers businesses, they later empowered me by helping me start mine. Today am glad that I have so far made my life better. I use any opportunity that comes my way to change my life and that of my family for the better. I drew my encouragement form those ahead of me and they challenged me to put the best foot forward to ensure that I become an independent person in life. The family provided the foundation that so far has made me who I am today. Its not easy because sometimes there are challenges particularly in business but I always seek and get guidance from those ahead particularly brothers who support me emotionally and financially if need be.

My Business

I do run a business with name SAFI FEEDS SUPPLIERS and it deals with supply of mainly Dairy cattle feeds, poultry feeds among others, I buy raw materials and create feeds using formula that I was trained on to make the feeds have all the nutrients. This puts me at an advantage since my feeds are known to have all the nutrients. At times customers make customized orders where the are very specific on what I should include in their orders. I deal with customers whose needs vary ranging from those who are small scale to those who require bulk supplies.The main challenge now is obtaining raw materials which have now become scarce and I have been forced to buy ready made feeds and by which sales have significantly gone down as most customers find it expensive. My business has grown over time as at now I am getting orders from far areas like Njoro and Gilgil, this I attribute to good customer service and good name.

Loan Proposal

I with my first loan I was able to hire a room for more storage room I am then focusing on purchase raw materials to make variety of animal feeds. This will make me utilise the room that I have just hired effectively and also ensure that customers with specific orders obtain what they want. I do estimate an investment of about 200USD, however from zidisha I anticipate to receive a loan of USD 110 therefore there will be additional USD 90 from my savings to ensure my business moves on well.
