My name is Doris Birago Asiedu.I was born on the 1st of August 1985 in Ghana at a village called Abesim in the Brong Ahafo Region.I am the fifth born of my parents.I am a single mother with a handsome son.he is 2years three months old.unfortunately his dad died when I was four months pregnant.anyway that life.death will come when it will come.I want to give the best i can in life to my boy .
I started my primary education in the year 1998 and completed at Sunyani Senior High in the year 2006.I gained an admission to university of Cape Coast to read BEd Man agent and graduated in 2010.
The very thing that makes me happy more is to play with my boy.
After my national service.I started with selling of cooked food.I did door to door delivery. I used to sell so many kind of our local dishes. I used to sell cloth alongside the food.
Some where last year a friend introduce me to mushroom business and ever since,i have been in this kind of business. It is a very profitable business.very income generating and it is easy to find customers.a lot of our people like mushrooms. Though perishable, demand is always more than supply.ever since I started this business I have able to save higher than what I used to save previously. My son started school this year and his fees was paid by the savings I made.
With and amount of Ghs2641 I will be able to purchase about 1800 bags of mushrooms. I expect sales to increase as it has always been.with this I expect to get at least Ghs3800.this meaning gradually my business will be expanding.i want to start with my own production rather than always buying the bags.so I want to save more so that my savings together with my next loan will be used to acquire a land .
