About Me

I am a Kenyan born entrepreneur who grew up in a humble family of two raised by a single mother. My childhood wasn't that easy with mum working odd jobs in order to see us go to school and have the basics needs we required. Some days were rough and tough and we would at times go hungry and I would trek to school when transport money wasn't available. I thank God that, through mum's hard work, I managed to complete my primary education and joined a good high school. Unfortunately, she passed on not having seen me join high school. My mum's sister, who had always been like a second mother to us, took us in and saw me through high school and college where I did a diploma in business management.

I have now decided to venture into beauty consultancy since I am a makeup person who loves beauty. Having being raised along the Kenyan coast where tourism is common, I have been outgoing and, through that, had people get interested in my love for beauty .A lot of ladies consult me on the makeup I use and how I use it. That's how my idea of beauty consultancy came up. I love the beach and vacations and its through that that I get to advertise my products to the people I meet.

My Business

I am currently an entrepreneur dealing with home gas and cereals. My products are really doing well in the market and, as of now, I make a profit of between $600-$750 every month. After my revenue deductions and bills, including rent and electricity that take about $150, I am left with a good amount that takes care of my two employees ($100 each). I usually save 30% of the remaining amount for growth of my stock and emergencies.

Loan Proposal

I plan to buy beauty cosmetics that i have discovered to be of high demand through market research and my female clients. My purchase amount will be $120 and from this i tend to make a profit of $ 200.The profit i earn will enable me add more stock on my second purchase giving me double the profit and upon the third purchase with the sales doing well,i intend to be giving 20% of my profit to redcross and 10% to our church which helps the needy in the society regardless of their backgrounds.
