My name is Lawrence macharia, legally Married to Franciscah mibey with 2 kids.I hold a bachelors of science degree in Information Systems Technology from United States international university class of 2006 I.D 610724(USIU):and operate a computer shop in Nakuru town.I decided to go into computer business because of its dynamic nature and the level of unemployment in Kenya. i want to be an employer in future Not an employee. My hobbies include movies, music, researching, meeting new friends and technology.
My business is fully registered at the attorney general's office by the name "Framtech Computer Solutions". It is fully licensed to sell computers, tablets, smartphones, laptops, printers, copiers,Computer repair and maintenance, data recovery, web design, software programming, mobile solutions,networking,e-commerce and stationery supplies.
In this business, the major challenges are competition and stock levels.About the competition i have endeavored to learn from it and exploited few weaknesses like aggressive marketing through online channels and price cuts.
The other challenge of stock level is the main reason for me to request the loan so that i can boost my stock levels slowly by slowly based on the customer demands.
currently am earning a monthly income of $350-400 after deducting expenses.Since am a family man my basic needs take $150 and the rest i use to increase the business stock.thank you .
Thanks for the first loan..indeed it has really helped me great deal. Am very honored to be part of this wonderful venture both as a Volunteer mentor and as a borrower.whatever amount remains will add more accesories to my shop like Rams flash etc
Am requesting for a second loan to purchase ex-UK desktops which are really on very high demand especially towards the end of the year..The reason being parents are forced to buy desktops for their children due to the cost friendliness and school demands.
From the first loan i managed to save 12,000 Kenya shillings which is approximately 133 usd. i already have orders to fulfill but due to lack of enough stock am left with no option but to borrow from the Zidisha fraternity. My clients have made orders for 10 desktop computers. i have 2 desktops already in stock but the orders have to be supplied all at once in order for the payments to be processed.
Each desktop cost 8,000 Kenya shillings(89 usd) but i need 8 desktops at a cost of 8000 x 8=64,000. if you substract the 12,000(134 usd) i already have am left with a deficit of 52,000(585 usd).
i sincerely hope that my dream will be realized by the zidisha family which i happen to be a member of.
