My
name is Julius Moturi aged 44 and i run a pharmaceutical business in
Nairobi. I have been running this business for over 15 years now. This
is the type of business that is in my blood and i do it with a lot of
passion. I am a family man with two lovely children and a beautiful
wife.
This business has helped all along in educating my children, provision
of shelter and other basics.I started this business because that is
what i have known all along and its easy to access clients as and when
appropriate.I purchase drugs with the earnings that i get.
My
business revolves around sourcing and supplying of drugs. After the
purchase of this drugs, there is a two way dimension to it. One, i loo
for orders and secondly, i wholesale the drugs. This business has
already existing clients and i have developed a business network that
has also made it possible for me to continue running this business. The
income i get from this business ranges from Kshs. 50,000 per month that
is after all deductions. There is demand for this business especially in
health centers, private hospitals and government hospitals.Competition
has not been very hostile but there are always challenges especially
inadequate funds to supply more when the demand is so high.I will
definitely use the loan to purchase the drugs that i don't have at the
moment. The sales revenue is Kshs. 50,000.
The loan will be used to purchase more drugs for supply to retail and whole sale chemists as well as to medical centers to rural areas which find it a problem in reaching urban areas for such drugs.
The rural centers will be able to access drugs that are required and on time therefore saving them the time, money as well as lives in those centers.Lenders should support me on the basis that my business is not only commercial per se but goes a going way in saving peoples lives in rural medical centers, saves peoples time in traveling far and wide to look for drugs and such time saved can be utilized either in business, studies and community constructive work.Lastly, the loan will increase my self sufficiency and hence growth of my business.
