My name is Bertha Nyundu and i am business lady, i do farming and clothing business. I am a single mother of 2 kids. I went to Ndeke seconday school where i did my seconday school education. After school i studied for a certificate course in farming. I am a very positive woman and even after i lost my husband at an early age i have always been striving in my business and in my career. I work as an Agriculture officer but i love business so much, i have been in business since i was a little girl. I started my business to supplement my salary which has not been enough to sustain us. However, I am hardworking and my business is doing very well.My kids want to pursue university education and become lawyers.
my source of income is my job as an Agriculture officer and also my business...i sell clothes and apart from that am a farmer i plant bananas and a variety of local vegetables, including tomatoes and onion. I chose selling agriculture products because they are on high demand. Natural foods are what a lot of people eat in my community so my business is on my demand. The costs i normally face are fertilisers and pesticides which i have to spray on my plants from time to time. But once i have harvest which i actually do in stages i am able to make a good profit. The profits i make is usually to pay for school fees for my kids and also reinvest in my business so that it can grow every day.
I am applying for a loan to hep me purchase pesticides for my vegetable garden. I grow a variety of local vegetables such as rape, cabbage, pumpkin leaves and so on. These vegetables have market i usually sell to marketeers who come to buy straight from my garden. By having pesticides i hope that my produce will be much better and i will be able to make a reasonable profit from my sales. The profit will be used to buy food at home and benefit my family also. I will appreciate to all my lenders for your support.
