About Me

Paul Amponsah is my name and I am a man of 25 years old, I was born in Berekum, a town which is about 40 minutes drive from Sunyani which is the regional capital of Brong Ahafo.
I am dark in complexion and I am 5 feet tall. I have 7 siblings with me been the fifth born of my parent. I am single. I completed my secondary education at Dormaa Ahenkro Senior High School. I am now making preparation for my tertiary education. I am now into blocks moulding. The food I cherish most is “fufu”(which is our local food ,made by pounding cassava and plantain together with the help of mortar and pestle) with groundnut soup. The game I like to watch most is football and volley ball. I like playing computer games and making friends all over the world.

My Business

BLOCKS MOULDING FOR SALE
I have been into moulding of blocks for sale for the past two years. It all started after my completion of Senior Secondary School Education and was asked to go and stay with my senior brother at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. Due to financial constraint, I was unable to further my education. so there was one block manufacturing company known as” Kwasi Oppong Blocks Factory” just close to our house. My brother see that as an opportunity and took me there as an apprentice to learn how to make blocks because very few people are doing this business in Berekum where I come from. I didn’t joke with it but put all my attention into learning it and in fact I learn it well.
Afterwards my brother was able to purchase for me the manual blocks moulding machine to start work with at Berekum. H e also buys 3 trips of sand and 30 bags of cement for the start. All the crowd turns to buy their blocks from my shop because my blocks were of quality and also affordable. I am able to raise money from this business which serves as an income for my family. My younger siblings are now happily enjoying school .I cannot do the work alone and have therefore employed five (5) people who are working for payment. I know I have a future, because people will keep on building houses and will always have work to do.

LOAN REPAYMENT
patronage of the blocks is going on well and for that matter to makes profit out of it. So I would be able to pay the loan from this profit I make from the business.

Loan Proposal

I am going to use this loan to purchase trip of sand and 30 bags of cement to continue with my block moulding business. People will always look for shelter, this creates room for building of houses and I want to always have blocks there to sell. I am therefore pleading with the entire Zidisha Lenders to assist me get all this materials for my blocks moulding. I am using the profit I gain from it to look after my junior sibling’s education, Due to financial difficulties I was unable to further my education and I do not want this to happen to my siblings as well. Thank you Lenders for your continual support.
