About Me

Certificate, thereafter i moved to Nairobi and lived with my aunt. after struggling with life i decided to be employed as a house worker, after 3 years of work i saved 15,000, i then droped from job to start self employment of selling second hand clothes which was not doing well, then after observing business opportunities i zeroed in to LPG for cooking, i got a friend who who was selling cooking gas and she introduced me in the business and i started with sh 20,000 with the first stock of 10 cylinders and to date i have 52 gas cylinders, i live in Kamulu, Nairobi. the capital city of Kenya-Africa
I do own a small business of selling LPG in cylinders distributing to local households at a fee, i also sell accessories and consumables like burners, cylinders ,grills, and pipes.
i have been to this business for the past 1 year and i have seen the business is now growing step after step.
in kenya people are very hard working and determined especially in doing business, they persevere with a lot of struggles but grow with strong spirit, people like cooking Ugali and traditional foods and most people are Christians and Muslim.
in the future i would like my children to embrace doing business . i love singing christian melodies and watching local movies

My Business

My business is Retail of cooking Gas of different brands and accessories.
Cooking gas is now very essential in every household especially in the urban centres. LPG has replaced the traditional mode of energy like firewood, charcoal and kerosene which are harmful to the environment.
I chose doing this kind of business because it does not require a lot of amount to start and the demand of cooking gas is constant and continuous every day since its a household good.
my daily costs of this business is Rent of ks 3000 per month, the other costs like transport are borne by the customer. Per day i can exchange average of 4 cylinders of Gas which generates a profit of ks 720 and 200 from accessories totaling to 920 per day
The profit is shared between 300 daily for home rent, expenses and the rest i re-invest back to the business
