About Me

I am Franciscah Kinanu from Meru. I am aged 28 years married to Evans Mose. Together we have 2 sons , Leon 11 years at Mwangaza primary school Nairobi class 5 and Daniel 3 years at New Bridge academy at Obama Estate.
I am born again christian a member of Njiru Full Gospel Churches of Kenya.
I am trained saloonist a profession i have been since 2006. I was trained at Unity college Nairobi.
Business school gives you the education that you need if you want to succeed in building a successful salon business with all the challenges that entails.

A a successful hairdresser, have little or nothing to do with the skills required to build and manage a business.

The day i opened the business my job description changed dramatically to include responsibility for marketing, training, financial control, stock control, budgeting, recruitment, motivating and leading a team, and that's just my start.

My Business

I am currently working in a salon in Obama Estate Nairobi under commission and at times work from the house since i have my regular customers.
My business is so profitable because i work on my customers well and they appreciate.
I keep on adding more each day. I am perfect in my work and have got experience.
My success now is not dependant on doing all the work, but rather how well I can get other people to do the work, that's what I do, I grow people into a team that represents my brand! That can be exciting and rewarding, but it can also be challenging and frustrating. That is all I do.
A happier more loyal team for e means Better profit margin, To work less hours and have more holiday, To be more focused and organized and To have less stress, more growth and general success?

Loan Proposal

I take this opportunity to first thank the entire Zidisha team and my lenders in my previous loan. It really helped me and it build the confidence of clients in my business services.
The loan am applying now will help me purchase a STEAMER which is extremely important in my salon at this time.
The STEAMER costs 258USD, so if i get the 150USD, i will add on to my savings and be able to purchase the STEAMER.
I am looking forward to raising the 150USD from Zidisha lenders and will work hard to be sure i pay in time as required by Zidisha.
