About Me
My name is Mary Nalukui. I am a farmer living in Kabwe rural. I am married to Peter, who is also a farmer. We have three children.
We produce maize, potatoes and soya beans at the farm.
My Business
I have cultivated a large portion of land to plant groundnuts. I plan to sell the groundnuts to a local nutrition agency operating in the area.
The agency buys the groundnuts and produces baby porridge and other food supplements which are distributed to vulnerable children.
Loan Proposal
I plan to use the loan to purchase storage bags to store my Groundnuts which I recently harvested.
I will transport the Groundnuts to a local company which buys the Groundnuts and makes various products, such as peanut butter.
Income Source
My business is doing well and I already have a local company which has ordered to buy my Groundnuts at a good price.
What I need to do now is to harvest the Groundnuts and store it properly, before selling.
