My name is Edward Okoe-Laryea. I come from prampram in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. I am a Mechanic by profession however I have trained and practiced herbal medicine for treating various illness like hypertension, diabetes and stroke. I have being doing this for the past ten years. I am a devote christian and an elder at my local church. I am married with two sons. I like to help other build healthy lifestyles and to prevent getting sick
My Business
I retired from my mechanic job and now fully into farming of herbal products. Some the commonly known plants in my farm are moringa and noni. I process these and package them for sale. I also provide consultation for those seeking treatment. Certain health problems are hard to treat and so people call on for special treatment in herbal medicine
Loan Proposal
I currently depend on rainfall for water supply to irrigate my farm. This is quite unreliable and has made my service seasonal. I would like to use this loan to contribute to purchase a new water service for my farm. This would ensure that I provide fresh and timely herbs all year round.
