About Me

Brian,
I started my business about six moths ago. Due to the corona virus however, the economy went low. People's purchasing power was affected. Yet my business had not stabilized. Like any other person with a vision in business, i had to act strategically. I had to increase the services i offered. I thought of lamination and buying a second printer. since my printer is insufficient for bulky printing.Buying a printer to me would mean more efficient service to my clients. The problem was now how to raise the amount to buy a printer. But since i learnt about Zidisha, i thought it will be a nice idea to apply for a loan. Though the income level may not be normal. I believe with the current need for online services especially with the corona virus, i will survive in the market.
Thank you.

My Business

I own a cybercafe. Which i started about six months ago. I offer services like browsing, kra returns filling, helb loan applications for kenya university students, printing, photocopy, computer and phone accessories. However i face some little challenges on the printing services, since sometimes i may need to do some bulky printing. But my printer is slow, it cannot accommodate more clients.

Loan Proposal

My Cyber offers a lot of services like photocopy, printing, and browsing. However, most clients also like some additional services which I thought would make more sense to have the lamination services as well. This will help me increase my clients and even make more profit. With the machine, in place, my profit could increase by about 20% approximately Since the customers will be able to print and additionally have a lamination service if they wish to, all in one place. For this loan, I will make a purchase of the Laminating machine and advertise to all my regular customers that the service is now available at an affordable price.
This will help me compete effectively In the cybercafe market. Where service delivery in my area is a major concern for the clients. Finally, I would like to thank the Zidisha team and all my Lenders for supporting and believing In my dreams.

Income Source

The current pandemic is already an undesirable condition for most businesses. However, The business has managed to survive the diverse effects of the pandemic. There are a few reasons that can be attributed to this. One is the increase in demand for online services in this area. Some colleges and universities have opted for online studies. Most people are in need of online services. Another factor is the precautious measures that have been incorporated into the business. I spend some cash and time on maintaining the safety of all the clients. Putting sanitizers in place and ensuring the social distancing at the Business premises. This makes the clients happy and they are likely to come for services again. With this I believe, I will be able to repay the loan in due time. Thank you.
