About Me

My name is Easter Beth Njoki. I have worked in the tourism industry for 7 years up until last year when corona hit and due to the pandemic I was laid off. It was then when I decided to start my own organic make up company. I started making lip balms with all natural products from Uganda and Kenya. They were well received, I sold them online and at farmers market and flea markets around Ngong road and Karen sides. I decided to take another small step and introduce Lip scrubs into my product list.. Again they were all well received and gained a lot of interest.
A few weeks later I introduced body glow butters, body scrubs and body lotions. I had only ten jars and 10 labels that I got printed. As soon as I posted them on instagram, I sold all of them in just two days. I even finished my stock of raw materials!!
A start up is an investment that needs boosting until it is able to stand on its own feet and that is what my business needs.

Shamiri Naturals is an organic make up line that is committed to creating make up and body products from pure, raw and natural ingredients.
As people become more aware of the environmental and health benefits of organics, we are presented with an opportunity to align our creations with the trend of consumer habits.
Make up we believe should be simple, safe, inexpensive and non-reactive to all. The current cosmetic market has been flooded by expensive and counterfeit products and most people are opting to natural extracts and that is where we step in. We want to cut the cycle of toxicity and introduce fresh, beautiful and safe products for all age groups

Loan Proposal

I will pay for the raw materials I need. Also get new labels for my products which I am very excited about. I have new products that are selling well and this loan will help me do just that

farmers markets always help a lot. Also advertising my business on google ads will generate income for me
