About Me

I was Born in Migori county with my two parents. I grew up and joined a local primary school where I studied up to class five before moving to our rural home in Vihiga County. Here at Vihiga County, I enrolled in class six and continued with my primary education in class eight where I sat for my K.C.P.E(Kenya Certificate of Primary Education) in 2002 and garnered 358 marks out of possible five hundred. I was very happy and now my dream of becoming a nurse was nearly becoming true when I joined a local provincial school Vokoli Girls still in Vihiga County in 2003. I endurered a lot of things, peer pressure and even strictness from my parents for the next four years which were not easy. in 2007, I completed my High school and the following year, I joined college to train Pharmacy and then trained with Red cross. I successfully became a fully trained nurse and red cross volunteer

My Business

For the past few years, I have been volunteering for Red Cross where I offered humanitarian aids and other works. at the same time, I have been volunteering in some local hospitals and health centers within my locality. I currently sell drugs at a local pharmaceutical shop as a pharmacist and I started my own pharmaceutical in recently which am restocking slowly.
I am seeking money to buy more drugs and other health supplements which will enable me to effectively and smoothly run my own business and become independent from the other pharmaceutical that am working for. in my shop.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, as mentioned from above, am in need of money to fully stock my own pharmaceutical shop so that I become independent and create employment for others. I currently need more than two hundred dollars to do the work but for now, I am seeking 100Dollars through zidisha so that I add my savings from the other job so that I buy more stock for my pharmaceutical shop. In a nut shell, all the 100 Dollars that I seek to raise here will go towards the purchase of the stock that I need in order to open my new pharmaceutical shop. I promise that I will keep my agreement of repaying my loan on time always. Kind regards as I look forward to your kind support.

      Dear Inez,

Please create a support ticket. I am a lender volunteer and not a Zidisha staff member. And only a Zidisha staff is able to get that information.
You can create a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help).

Below the calculations based on the screenshot.
      150.17 loan
      - 7.51 service costs
      - 133.03 optional member loan fund donations
= 9.63 received on your account

According to the info that’s available to me you should be able to repay the 9.63 (the amount you received) and maybe the 7.51 (the costs) and then ask Zidisha support to cancel the loan because you didn’t want the MLF.

If this isn’t possible then you could repay the loan in full and then immediately ask a refund of the 133.03 because the MLF is refundable.

      Kind regards,
      Joost
      Team Zidisha (lender volunteer)

    Dear Inez,

You opted to enlarge your credit limit by putting a big part of this loan into the Member Loan Fund. You WON’T receive this on your bank account.
More info about this can be found in the FAQ (www.zidisha.org/faq#faq-65).

You can find an overview with the calculations on your “your credit limit” page. (www.zidisha.org/current-credit). Before taking out a large loan, you must first build creditworthiness by repaying small test loans over a period of time.

If you accept this loan then you should go to your dashboard and confirm acceptance by following the instructions on your dashboard (www.zidisha.org/borrower/da...)

If you don’t accept this loan then please wait 3 days and it will expire automatically.

If you already accepted the loan and this was a mistake then please cancel the loan by following the instructions on your dashboard (www.zidisha.org/borrower/da...) Or if this isn’t possible anymore then contact support to ask for an MLF refund.

Ps. This is a place to communicate with lenders. If you need help from Zidisha staff about your account then you should always create a support ticket using the help menu (www.zidisha.org/borrower/help).

    Kind regards,
    Joost
    Team Zidisha

Hello lenders, today I talked to Inez regarding her late loan repayment, we discussed the issue and its like some things about members fund deductions were not clear to her, she didn't understand why the deductions were made, I tried to explain to her that about requirements, she was satisfied with our discussion and she agreed to start paying from this week.

Dear Lenders, I really appreciate for your money that you lent to me to improve my own pharmaceutical chemist. I thank God that all is well now after the floods affected our premises two months a go. May God bless you so much. I am now coming back to seek another loan to add stock of drugs to my chemist.

Hi Lenders and Zidisha, I would like to thank you for the support that you continue to give small entrepreneures to improve their lives through business. I thank God that my project is up and running, though it has not picked up at higher rate. I have been repaying my installments of 467 weekly for the past two weeks. I kindly would like to decrease my repayments to Kes. 250. I promise that when things will be well again, I will increase this amount upwards.Iappreciate your work.God bless you
