I was brought up by my beloved parents; Mrs Dorca M. Birisi and Mr Thomas O. Kiage under a drastic and humble life. I am the first born in a family of six. I joined primary education through hardship since my parents could not afford to pay school fee for the six of us,in 2003 I joined secondary school where i sat for my KCSE in 2006.
I have not managed to continue with my college studies because of financial constraint. Due to this, I developed my career by savings earned from small business transactions and also from a little capital I had saved which i got from being employed in a small wholesaler shop in our local town. In this life of independence, I believe that I will be on the top, if only I will be given a little push by Zidisha and the lending community at large. Thank you
I operate a medium sized cloth production premise which is well established in a high demand population area for delivery of services to the entire community and the society at large. These are the services that I offer, all under one roof; i do repair torn clothes, re-style ready made clothes to customer's taste and perfection, sell ready made cloths for different fitting sizes with a supplement of shoes . I do offer quality services to my customers and that is why I have come this far. In the modern life, everything needs incorporation with technology, thus I have a challenge of acquiring a big, better and faster sewing machine to cater for the ever increasing demands of my customers. Despite all these challenges, I en-devour myself to remain focused to my obligations and goals. This has helped me to expand my business and family greatly. All thanks go to God, and the Zidisha Team.
I will add rrady made cloths to my shop which has good income on sale e.g 1 belly costs 13000 at purchase and on sale i will make a profit of 5000KES.
It will help me pay bills and tution fee to my child.
