About Me

I am currently the Chairman of the Association of Poverty Solutions Kenya (APS Kenya) and with a passion for community development.

APS Kenya is an NGO registered in Kenya under the Kenya NGO Coordination Board. Our organization mainly focuses on poverty reduction strategies aimed at improving the livelihood of the community and enhancing development projects for poverty alleviation. Our organization enhances access of the poor and low income earners to poverty eradication programmes for an active life, hence helping to create a pathway out of poverty.

Our aim is to become a launching pad for community empowerment processes across Kenya. Our efforts focuses on youth empowerment programs, health & hygiene awareness, identification & training communities on economically viable projects and capacity development.

"Let us work in partnerships between rich and poor to improve the opportunities of all human beings to build better lives."

My Business

Supply of Charcoal Briquettes manufactured from Biomass.

Briquettes are flammable blocks of matter used as fuel. They are made from extruded or compressed shredded combustible materials. A binding agent like starch may be necessary to hold the materials together, though pressure may at times be enough. Some of the common materials used to make briquettes are charcoal fines, mineral char, sawdust, chaff from rice, peanut and other crops, leaves and any biomass materials.

So why do we have to used briquettes instead of firewood, charcoal, or electricity?
The charcoal briquettes burn slowly, are more efficient with increased heat value, smokeless and are cheaper.

Loan Proposal

We require the loan to have tap water connected to our charcoal briquette facility. At the moment we are fetching water for use in preparation of the charcoal briquettes from a nearby dam hence a little cumbersome and time wasting.
