About Me

I am a male Kenyan aged 38yrs from humble family background, I struggled going to school, but with God’s grace managed to complete high school. I went to various colleges through sponsorship graduated in Diploma in Computer Graphics Design, I am also trained in Life Skills, HIV/ AIDS counseling, testing & management.
I have worked in various organizations and group in different capacities mostly as a volunteer, thereby gained a lot of experience.
Am married to one lovely wife and have been blessed with two children both in Primary School. Currently, I reside at Uhanya beach and operate a Cyber Café, also offering computer service.

My Business

I started my computer business in 2008, with a small capital from my savings I just had one computer, I learned to be patient and the business has grown to a small cyber cafe’. Though am grateful for my progress so far, my vision is for the business to grow to a computer college, and I believe with your financial support I can achieve my goal.
The major challenge in this area is unreliable electricity, we often experience power outages thus disappointing clients, I will buy a power generator which will help in continuation of the business even when there is no electricity. However I have a long term plans of installing solar system.
Due globalization many people use internet service for communication and social networking hence the high demand for reliable and sustainable internet services.
I earn an average sale of $343 I pay bills worth $177 this leaves me with a gross profit of $166. I then take 25% for emergency and expanding the business. The balance $124.5 is my average Net profit.
I use this profit to take care of my family, paying my children’s school fees and providing basic necessities. With proper funding I would expand the business, meet my customers demand, by increasing computer illiteracy level in training many people. Hence increasing the number who will join Zidisha as well.

Loan Proposal

I have made big strides since I got my fist loan from Zidisha, now my business is doing well and as a result I have started refurbishing the cyber café. I want to put up two more computers fix better comfortable chairs, install an office fan for ventilation and background music. The total cost of the work will be $405 but I have some savings from the business which is going to supplement.
I will attract many clients by the new look cyber café as people prefer browsing in a comfort environment, with low background music. The increased customers will eventually demand more computers and that is why i am putting up additional computes. I am looking forward to improved revenue thus being more comfortable in repaying the loan.

Hello thanks so much my dear lenders for the support you lent to me, my business is improving despite numerous challenges I faced late last year to early this year, though I have endured such situations and as my driving motto says “winners never quit and quitters never win” now I am reaping the fruit s of endurance and am looking forward to great things. In April I put up a foundation for a rental house (2 houses each one bedroom with a kitchen) to supplement my income and I am in the process of construction. This would not have been possible without you Zidisha Lender may god bless you abundantly.

My business has been slowed down by persistent power blackout as I could not operate efficiently by the generator because it is expensive. Due to the ongoing rain we have had frequent power loss which sometimes lasts for a week. I, therefore reduce the payment to suit my current situation. Thank you

May I take this opportunity to humbly apologize for failing to submit payment as should have been? The just ended festive season had many challenges and the political atmosphere was not conducive for business. However, I do hope the New Year brings calm as everything has begun well. I therefore wish to reduce my payment to meeting the low income. Once again thank you for your continuing support

Hello, i am pleased to report that three of the members assigned to me have posted their loans for funding. David Odhiambo, Sarah Wanjiku and Gordon Otieno.
A part from Gordon who is new, the other two have maintained good record over 95% on time repayment and i would therefore recommend them for considerations.
    Thanx God bless
