About Me

Am Charity Kamfuti Mukenda a zambian lady aged 37 years, born on 29 march 1979 in ndola zambia. I did my primary school at kansenshi basic school from 1986 to 1992.I stayed two years before starting my grade eight due to financial challanges. In 1994 I started my junior level at chifubu secondary school and wrote my grade nine passed to go grade ten. From 1996 to 1998 did my senior level at masala secondary school and completed obtained my GCE.
After completing school I got married,
He passed away in 2008 I am a widow with three children; first born she's 18years completed her grade 12 last year, second born his s 14years doing grade nine and last born she's 10years doing grade seven.
In 2001 I did a marketing course with London Chamber of Commerce & Industry and obtained a group diploma which consists of marketing, selling,advertising and public relations.
After completing I worked for Colgate company as a market research personnel a contract of one year. In 2003 to 2005 worked for Zesco as a marketing officer under ddacc program also a contract ,in 2005 to 2008 worked for professional assurance company as a team leader under sales department.
Then I did my customer care course at Zambia Telecommunication college and attended a two weeks referrals course and obtained a certificate of attendance.
From 2008 to 2012 was out of employment was just doing my own small business, getting 50 kg bags of rice from Nakonde and repacking them in small packages, buying perfumes from Lusaka. Reselling them in Ndola also baking scones and cakes supplying schools.
From 2013 to date I am currently working for phoenix of zambia assurance as a marketing officer under Kitwe branch,I normally operate from Kalulushi,Chingola,Mufilira,kasumbalesa.the project am doing as at now is building a three bedroomed house in pamodzi a residence area which is almost done..

My Business

I started My business in 2008 when I was out of employment,and the kinds of Businesses that I ventured into really required time and hard work,

I Run a Food retail store just within the Copperbelt,Northern Zambia,
In My Outlet,I stock different varieties of Food stuffs Like; Rice, Beans and many other local produce, I also have some Ladies cosmetics on another store just within town where I stock,Perfumes,Hair Creams,shampoos, and Different ladies items...
These Businesses I have helped me and my family to survive and I want to expand my Business in Future,
The money for the Loan will be used to order stock for the Food outlet and later open another one with the town centre in Kitwe...

Loan Proposal

I charity mukenda am applying for my fifth loan with this organistion so that I can renovate my house.as I ealier explained in my introduction story I have a house I have been building after my husband past on its been a challenge to finish the house and time has passed some parts of the building needs renovation Once my lenders fund this loan I will immediately start to renovat my house which I have been building for the past few years,so that I can increase the rentals.

Charity was able to make the majority of her payments on time and she completed her loan nearly a month early. I would loan to her again.
