About Me

My name is Tonny Lukalo. I live in Uasin Gishu County Annex Estate. I come from a family of 12 children. I am the 1st born in our family. I am a Christian with Living Rock church. I went to Cheplaskei High School and now am working in my farm as a farmer with my wife. I have attended Bukura training institute which has horticultural courses and later went to Naivasha which has a veterinary. This has helped me to have an idea of farming. But due to lack of finances, I was not able to grow from what little I have. Where I stay, people think that farming is meant for old or retired ones and you can't get money for the whole family but for me it has really helped me feed and keep my children in school. One of my children wants to be a vet doctor.

My Business

As a farmer, I have been involved in this field for 2 years and am planting vegetables and tomatoes, onions, etc. In our area, many schools and families need these items and they are using them a lot. I chose this kind of business because of high demand on the ground and in the community around us. It is also my passion to plant and sell for money so my family can have something to put on the table and to take them to school.

Loan Proposal

I want to take this oppotuniny ance again to thank you the zidisha family for making my dreams come true and giving my business life.
I want to expand my business buy renting farm for two years to help in maximizing on profit of my farm and add one person to work at the farm to earn a living.

1. Rent two acres of land.
2.Buy DAP fertilizer.
3.Buy CAN fertilizer.
4.And pesticide.
Afte buying all this I will be able to increase my frofit buy over 12% and give more vegetable to the children home and meet the demand of green vegetable in my locality.b
