About Me

My name is Simon Mwendwa. I am a young man doing business in Mombasa city where I relocated from my rural home of Makueni county shortly after finishing my secondary school education.

I got into this business because I am a very enterprising person who desires to go to great heights in business world. I love traveling and meeting new people.

I am currently single but hope to settle for marriage in a few years to come.

My Business

My business entails selling of all types of shoes. I source my stock from the capital city of Kenya - Nairobi where they are sold at an cheaper price. I occasionally buy some from big stores in Mombasa when not buying in large quantities.

I sell about 15 pairs of shoes per week were I make a profit of $80 from the sales. I use this money to grow my business as well as for my upkeep. I hope to expand my business in the next few years so as to be able to serve more clients and get more income from it.

Loan Proposal

I made good sales in the months of January and February. I sold shoes to school children who were starting their academic year. I now need to increase my stock after selling most of.

Money from this loan and the money I made will be enough to buy a good stock of shoes which will drive the sales upwards. I hope to keep growing with Zidisha since the market is big.
