About Me

As a teen, I used to drive my mother crazy with my constant need for supplies to make household items for sale. Without much, and with little she could spare, she would buy me items to make supplies such as cleaning materials. After school, I further developed this work as a income-making hobby while working as a community worker.

However, when my job came to an end, I took up the household goods trade in full. I used all my savings and began trading from my house. Over time, I have gained a good customer base, but with a great need for capital in order to keep up with enough inventory.

My Business

My business involves selling a supply of household items: cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment and food preparation accessories. I began selling to individuals door to door and, over time, I have managed to engage a couple of schools to supply them with household and kitchen accessories.

I have 2 permanent employees, 2 temporary staff and, from time to time, engage young adults with no income for casual employment whenever we have more orders to service. We hope, with steady business and constant cash flow over time, we are able to create more jobs for youth within our community.

Our appeal is for a capital boost to service the current pending purchase order for energy-saving cook stoves for a school. This is an initiative to introduce an environmentally friendly cook stove that uses cost-effective fuel.

Thank you for taking a chance on our business and cause.

Project Proposal

Having 25,000 Ksh will go along way in topping up my working capital. With this i shall be able to purchase inventory ( home consumables) and thus keep my business going..

The covid pandemic disrupted most of our businesses in the way of sourcing for goods... Now that we have gained abit of normalcy and are picking up... we are faced with funding challenges.

With enough working capital I shall be able to restock above breaking even level.

Thank you Zidisha community for continued support.

The problem why my on time payment is low is that I never knew that when I dely one week without paying and the I pay the next double of what I should have paid the previous week now that I have been told by my mentor I will try to pay my next loan on time
Thank you for taking a chance on our business and cause.

I hope that you are doing well. You're so close to repaying the loan! I'm sure it will be a weight off of your shoulders when you are done.

With additional finance, I am able to buy more inventory to service my client base and the same time have a bit more cash flow to service orders from school.
