About Me

My name is Joseph Otieno, Male, 54 years old, Born and brought up in Nakuru City in Kenya. For my education I went to Kisulisuli Primary School - 1981, then Flamingo Secondary School - 1985 and Lodwar Boys High School for my A-Level - 1987. I then went to Kenya Medical Training College where I did my Diploma in Physiotherapy 1991. I worked as a civil servant for 16 years then resigned in the year 2007 to concentrate on my businesses.

My Business

I started off by doing Multilevel Marketing business for 3 years but still continued part-time Home based physiotherapy. I switched to selling of clothes when I realized my business going down in the company. Ever since I continued doing the same including Online businesses. My income should be ranging between Ksh 20,000 to 30,000 currently in all the businesses.
I currently need a boost in my businesses.

Loan Proposal

Hello Zidisha family!
My intention about taking the loan now is to help me boost the stock for my business, which may cost me roughly 20,000/-. I have cumulated a portion of this money and now looking for the rest of the balance. At the moment there is a very high demand for second hand clothes. You all know that the borders were recently closed to minize movement as a result of Covid 19. This resulted into the sharp rise in the demand withing the textile industry, especially second hand clothes. I therefore believe that there is still an opportunity to make money here.

Income Source

Just as I have explained earlier on about closer of the borders have resulted in a sharp rise of clothing demands among families. So I now want to take advantage over the situation in order to make some good cash. I know I am going to achieve this by being mobile, moving door to door covering cold markets as well. And such mobile kind of business has proven to be more effective among our communities in the recent years.

    Dear lenders, I'm sorry to inform you that Joseph otieno i having a financial problem. I communicated to him and noticed that he is a old zidisha member since 2015. He said he will pay some money when he receives some funds from a certain business. I advised him to adjust the installments as soon as he gets the money he told me. Thanks

    Hi lenders. I am sorry to report of late loan repayments by Joseph. As my invitee i have been monitoring his progress closely and it is unfortunate that after a few repayments he started experiencing personal and health issues that made him not be productive. I have been following on his progress and i am happy to report that he is now in a better position to settle down and work. I promise you that in a few days time he will be able to bring his arrears to par and then continue with his repayments. I wish him all the best!
