I am a 2nd born in a family of seven. When we were growing up things we really hard as my parents could not afford most of the basic things. My mum was a tailor and my dad was a civil servant.
After my form four I had to seek casual jobs to save money to enable me pursue my college. I took a Diploma course of tours and travel where I did work for over ten years. Employment never gave me the satisfaction I wanted as the money was never enough it only paid bills and it was a cycle.
When I decided to start my business I did not have much capital but I took what I had and started to import products to sell. I now bring watches, wallets, towels, bags and socks. I would wish to increase my stock
I am teaching my children to venture into business and when they are not in school they help me round my small shop.
I have always enjoyed travel and I look forward to that time I will be able to take time off work to travel.
My business is for products that I import and sell locally. At the moment I have in stock towels, socks, handbags, watches and wallets. I look to expand and bring more goods to enable me have varieties. I sell online and I also get walk ins who come to buy from the shop. I also deliver to clients who cant make it to the shop at a minimal fee.
I make sure that my products are of good quality and I thrive to meet my clients satisfaction as I build my client base. This I have achieved as most are now repeat clients.
My overhead costs are rent, advertisements, electricity and internet services..
What I get as my profits pays my bills, school fees and I pump more to the business.
I intend to add to my stock list more products. I am currently selling towels, wallets, belts, boxers, watches and socks
Am now adding shoes, other types of socks, boxers and wallets to my stock.
I moving to a new shop within the CBD and needs to add more stock
I have a shop in CBD that is already in operation and what I want to to pay for more stock which I have already ordered from my supplier.
