i am amarried man with 3 kids i am a luo by tribe i stay in siaya . i studied upto forth form and went to college in nairobi .i studied automotive electric and worked in several garages . after some time i came to siaya worked as adriver . after saving some money i married and started a second hand clothes business to support my small family . this was due to lack of enough finances because my job gave me very little salary .this business has been there for 2 years now and its doing well . my wife supports me to ran it as i work in the garage . my kids can now go to school and hence my family is growing . i heard about zidisha from afriend of mine john oloo who told me that i can use my facebook account to get loan from the internet he gave me the link and assisted me on how to join .
.my business proposal;n my business deals with second-hand clothes i get them from kisumu and i sell them in siaya the demand for second hand clothes is very high in siaya because they are cheap and of high quality . my main customers are the residents of siaya who work in the county . i get my customers also from the garage i sell most trousers and shirts my customers love and like my goods since my prices are fair and i get high quality clothes . i have contacts from my phone whom i use to help get more customers in a day i sell ,around 2000/= which i get a daily profit of ksh 700/= this is a mothly income of 21000/= which is US DOLLARS 256 this money helps me to educate my chlidren pay my rent and help my parents at home . my costs include going to nairobi and kisumu to buy the clothes in bales then i come to sell normaly i sell one bale in a month my risks are sometimes the sales are low especialy in january when schools open and people have spent their money in december holidays most of the time the sales go down. i normaly pay rent ,pay tax to the county ,and transport costs my businees is growing i hope to put up abig shop to help me stock more clothes
