About Me

Hello Lenders, my name is Daniel Barasa, a young graduate striving to better my life through self-employement, i am a very determined person, self motivated and very hard working, i am a graduate of Business education and as i continue looking for employment, i have started am Shop and M-pesa business with which i have been earning my income. I wish that my business grows to become even a company someday, and it is because of this dream that i am looking for extra finances so that my business can be able to run smoothly and serve my customers even more efficiently, so i hope you lenders consider me and walk with me through this journey. I promise you that i will invest this funds properly and will keep repaying my loans on time. And i also promise that incase of any unforeseeen difficulties, which i hope will not arise, i will sincerely log in here and explain. One day, i will look back and say, yes! Zidisha realy helped me and held my hand to grow in business. Thank you in advance as you consider my application.

My Business

I run a Shop and M-pesa business, M-pesa is a mobile money transfer service in kenya offered by Safaricom. This business needs me to have sufficient float in order to serve my customers well in terms of accepting customers deposits and facilitating of withdrawals. the funds you loan me will therefore be invested in the business as float to help me run smoothly. I have also introduced a Shop in my M-pesa so that as customers withdraw funds from their mobile wallets, they may also shop for the items and commodities that they need. The shop section for now is mainly dealing with fast moving commodities such as sugar, salt, soap, flour, cooking oil, body lotions and oils, rice, detergents, etc. Am hoping that as i keep moving forward with Zidisha, i may introduce even more commodities.

Loan Proposal

First, am happy to report that with the previous loans i have been getting and the resulting profits that i made, they have enabled me to introduce a new retail shop section in my business where i sell fast moving commodities such as sugar, rice, flour, soap, coocking oil, etc. Therefore, for this loan that i am sourcing, part of the money i will invest as working float in my Mpesa mobile money transfer section where customers will be able to deposit and withdraw funds to/from their mobile wallets, and i will earn commision for facilitating those transactions. Part of the loan i will use it to buy more stock of commodities from wholesales and re-sell them in my shop at retail prices in smaller quantities and hence also make a profit margin. The profits that i will get will still be re-invested in the business and also pay for the loan, part of the profit will also be used to cater for my living expenses and pay school fees for my brother who is completing his O-level in November this year.

Hello Lenders, and the whole of Zidisha family. First, i want to say thank you very much for the previous loans, they have realy helped my business, the number of customers i have been able to serve increased greatly which led to even more commission earning. Am happy to report that this month i earned 38% more commision. Secondly, i want to report that in view of the increased number of customers and my earnings, and after an analysis of the market, i decided to introduce a shop section where i sell fast moving commodities such as sugar, rice, flour, salt, cooking oil, body oil and lotions etc. All these developments is thanks to the Zidisha loans that i have been getting and investing properly, and even more thanks to my lenders. Am also happy to say that i have tried my best to be paying the loan on time and am realy very sory in cases where i dissapointed. Lastly, i want to appeal to my lenders once again to keep the same confidence and fund me this time also as i seek a new loan. I will invest part of the loan in the Mpesa section, and part of it i will buy commodities on wholesale and sell as a retailer and hence make some profit margin.
Thank you lenders, thank you for believing on me, thank you for funding me, i can see my business moving forward and achieving great milestones.

Hello Lenders, i can happily confirm that i recieved the loan that i had applied for, and i want to thank you for funding me. As explained in my proposal, i have channelled the monies to work as part of my working float for my business which facilitates mobile money transfers where i serve customers that need to make deposits and withdrawals from their mobile wallets.

    Hello My Zidisha Lenders,
I want to realy appreciate you for the previous loan that you gave me. It boosted my business float and greatly helped me to serve so many of my customers who needed to make deposits and withdrawals from their Mpesa mobile wallets.
I also want to apologise for having delayed my payments abit due to my sisters sickness that had me spend alot of cash on her medication, but am happy to say she is recovering well and there wont be any more delays in future. I also want to thank you for your patience during that period.
For this loan that am applying for, the purpose is just still the same; to invest it in my working float.
    Thank you all,
    God bless Zidisha Lenders!
