About Me

Stephen Ofori is my name and started life at Bolgatanga the Capital city of the Upper East Region of Ghana.I was born to Mr and Mrs Ofori Manu.I have spent all my days here in Bolgatanga with my parents and siblings.I started school at St thomas Primary where i proceeded to Bolgantanga Senior High School.Due to financial constraints i couldnt continue after High School so had to resort to doing some pity selling on the main park station in town.Life in my childhood days was full of challenges with having to cope with selling and catering for my younger siblings as well.I had to start selling and had the vision of opening my own business in order to fight for the hustle in my family. The little profits did play a major role in elevating hardship thereby putting smiles on the face of my family.I love the people of my town.Bolgatanga is very rich in terms of culture and heritage. We speak common Dagaree language which stands out unique and our ethinic backgrounds binds as much in terms of our food, dance and all ways of life.I want to grow up someday i make my children have a real feel of better life than what their father had.Want them to receive the best education ever.I love to sing which is my hobby and sometimes listen to stories from my olderfolks.

My Business

Thy Creator Provide Enterprise is the name of my shop which i operate at the Central Business Distric of Bolgatanga.I do sell more grocery like tinned tomatoes,Rice,Oil,Sardines,Bottled Water and a host of goods for cooking. My goods is very essential since from the foods we prepare in our home these are the goods that can serve such a purpose so the demand is very high.I chose this business due to the high demand for the household needs and since we can live without food making the quest of it very high.My revenue generated is high and a typical cost of the goods is minimal since its a consumer good.I use the profits to reinvest in my business to see a high turnover in profits and do support my family with some portion also .

Loan Proposal

When given the loan i would like to expand my shop and buy more stocks to fill the shelves.I would buy more rice and oil and tinned products.A tin of tomato cost 50cents,a bag of rice at 10$ ,a bottle of oil at 2$the loan would help increase demand and fill my grocery shops very well and thus make demand and supply very effective.I expect to add more Rice and oil since we are in the fasting period since my community is a Muslim dominated area. With the loan my profit margin can increase to around 100$ a week.
