About Me

Baah Korantemaa is my surname and Vida is the first name. Am born and raised up in Berekum.I had all my basic education and secondary education in Berekum. After that I couldn't continue because my guidance expected me entering into apprenticeship of learning hair do but my interest was in trading, that is buying and selling of provisions (milo, milk, soap etc).It wasn't easy at the initial stage because I carried the items in a pan on my head doing door to door selling but with determination, I ended of having a shop of my own within our locality.

My Business

I am operating a business of buying and selling of items like milk,Milo,Tomato paste,Sardines, soaps of different kinds,Rice and many more in my shop.I took a loan from one of the community microfinances after I had made some savings out of the sales I make daily.I considered this business because people around my area do purchase the items frequently when I go to them and get enough profit out of it. I use some of my profits in paying for fees of my ward in Senior high school and some for the upkeep of the family .I belief fervently that with this business if I get extra support from Zidisha and for that matter lenders,my business will expand.

Loan Proposal

I have decided to purchase the following products for my shop when given the loan.I will buy one and half packets of Ideal milk costing $15 ,one box of sardine costing $ 13,three bags of 5kg of Rice costing $20,one packet of Milo costing $ 13 and $ 8 of sugar.I believe this will increase my profit since more items would be added to the already stock in the shop.
