About Me

Am a young Kenyan woman living in Nairobi and with great ambitions,dreams and set goals. I am happy to report I finally graduated from campus in December 2014. My small business is currently taking care of most of my rent and house bills now that am out of college.
I started engaging in serious business from first year (2010/2011) to date. I have a passion for business and the success of that business.
The income I have been getting has helped sustain me in campus by catering for pocket money,bills and other basics. The need to earn and be independent drove me to start business while still in school and at a young age. I use my income to cater for personal needs and also for buying products for sale to clients.
With the current rate of unemployment even with higher level education, engaging in businesses is the way to go to ensure we make a living.

My Business

I have registered my small company under a sole proprietorship with hopes for expansion in Future. The business involves sale and supply of IT products and office supplies. I have actively engaged in sale and supply of computer and computer accessories, cartridges, office stationery and by order I sell laptops,tablets, power banks,printers and other office consumables.
I sell the products in retail for now due to lack of enough funds. I share a stall/shop with a friend in the CBD to enhance physical location of the business where new clients can be directed to for consultation and other purposes.
I hope to open my own shop with time and stock it well. I have loyal clients who call to make orders. My timely delivery of products, competitive prices and good customer relations enable my business to compete favorably in the market. The income I get will enable me repay the loan in time.
A loan will help me when it comes to sourcing for products on a client's demand when need arises.
I appeal to Lenders to help me achieve my set goals for making this business bigger, better and more profitable. The area my business deals in will always be marketable as people will always want IT products and the offices will always need the supplies and consumables. I try as much as possible to sell whats trending in the market to ensure I compete favorably.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,
I thank you for funding my previous loan. It helped me stock some office supplies which previously I was not able to stock. Am back again requesting for more funding. I am more motivated than before since stocking is increasing my sales because I can now invite potential customers to come and physically have a look at the products.
If funded i would like to buy more stationery so that i can deliver customer's orders. Some clients are making bigger monthly orders and without enough funds it is hard to supply. I intend to buy atleast dozen of each type of stationery that the clients ask for. These include reams of photocopy/printing paper, files, boxes of writing and felt pens, envelopes of all sizes,printing ink, writing pads and many more which would cost at around 100 US Dollars. I would also like to improve on my stock of ink and toner cartridges. Due to inadequate funds I have not been able to buy enough stocks of toner cartridges. They are widely used by most clients and thus more marketable. With this new loan I would like to purchase and stock atleast 10 toner cartridges for different printers which cost me around 350 US Dollars in total.
I therefore humbly appeal for your assistance as this small business is what is sustaining me. I know the returns I will get will be enough to pay back the loan, cater for my bills and keep the business afloat.
