About Me

I am Ruth Wangui Waithera 21 years and I started business immediately after completing High School. I am also a student pursuing Early Childhood Development and Education. I have a two year old daughter called Kimberly. I live in Ruiru, Nairobi. I love my mother so much because she has raised me single alone and she taught me the value of doing business and pursuing education. I love business and would like to teach my daughter as she grows the value of education and how to manage a business.

My Business

I have a boutique that is located at Kahawa Sukari about seven kilometers from home and am happy about my progress.
The shop has both gents, ladies and children clothing. These includes: Vests, lingerie, shorts, shirts, T-shirts, socks, gloves, towels and sandals.
My clients are students are the many students that are studying in the neighboring Kenyatta University.
The clients are very much pleased with my products and the demand is growing day by day as more students are now enrolled in the University throughout the year. I sell during throughout the year because there are both module based, students and holiday or school based students, part time and full time students.

Loan Proposal

I would like to start selling beauty products including eye shadows, eye liners and lip sticks.
There is a new and high demand among students to buy this beauty products.
I will buy 10 pieces of eye shadows each at USD 0.48 , 10 pieces of eye liners at USD 0.48 each and 10 pieces of lip sticks at USD 0.48 each. The total cost of buying these beauty products at a wholesale price is USD 14.4.

I will sell the products to my clients as follows: 10 pieces of eye shadows each at USD 1.92, 10 pieces of eye liners each at USD 0.96 and 10 pieces of lip sticks at USD 1.44. each. The total profits for all the beauty products will be USD 43.2.

The profits will be USD 28.8 every week.

My clients have already ordered for these products which I will sell and buy more products with every profit collected. Every month I will be selling 40 pieces of each product. So in a month I will be making a profit of USD 115.2.
