About Me

Asiamah Kofi Boaz was born in 1989 at Antoa a in the Kwabre East District of Ghana to Mr and Mrs Asiamah. I start schooling from Antoa UP then continue from Kings International School then Nigritain JSS where i wrote my BECE in 2004. I entered into AFSTS that same year to study Business then continued to Berekum College of Education to study Diploma in Basic Education. I did Bed Accounting also in VVU. I have always believed and encourage myself by the power word my parents and friends always give to me and that has always be my strenght to overcome hardship in life. I start business as a writer who write script to publishers to publish it on credit and also take eggs on credit from farmer and sell to repay.

My Business

I am a professional teacher under GES at Abirem D/A J.H.S teaching Information Communication Technology (ICT). I observed that the performance of students in the subject was not encouraging over the years. I found out that ICT text books are inadequate in the system. It therefore became very necessary, demanding and useful for me to write ICT text books for students, because it was very difficult to come by. I started publishing ICT text books for Junior High School students about four (4) years ago that is 2012. The patronage in the beginning was very impressive. I sold 2000 copies of the books in the first year.
The books are printed and published on credit with the printing press. I give them out to sales personnel to distribute it to ICT teachers in various Junior High School on credit. The books are therefore giving to students on credit to pay in installment within a month period of time. The purpose of this book is to build the intellectual capacity of students on ICT as a course. The cost of printing the books are quite expensive however, it generates little income as profit. The printing cost is usually paid off after the books are sold. About 40% of the gross profit is giving out as a commission to both the distributors and the teachers. Only 60% comes to me as profit. This profit is mainly use for payment of school fees, home keeping and plough back profits for business expansion.
I started another business not long ago in the community. It has got to do with wholesale and retail of eggs. These eggs are bought on credit from a poultry farmer at another town from a distance. The eggs are purchased in bulk (400 crates). I live in a new site where people have to go to town to buy goods. It therefore became very necessary and demanding that I establish the small scale egg business to settle some of the basic needs of the people in the community. The cost of the eggs is also paid off after they have been sold. This profit is mainly use for payment of school fees, home keeping and plough back profits for business expansion.
After the growth of these two businesses, the proceeds from it will be used to commence another business. I want to invest in many businesses as a marketer and entrepreneur.

Loan Proposal

I am going to purchase eggs from poultry Farms into my eggs sales point and sale it to customers both wholesale and retail. The loan will be able to buy 130 crates of eggs which after sale will earn 18 to 20% profit. This loan will help me meet the demand of my customers.
