About Me

My name is Sarah Awuor and reside in Githurai. I have successfuly completed secondary education. I am a single mother of 2 children whereby one has completed secondary education while the other is still in primary school within the community.

My community is githurai which is approximately 16 KM from the city center and is an informal settlement.

I started my business to support my family living expenses and education for my children hence it has really assisted us and now I want to exapnd and accomodate the customers demand.

My Business

My business is based in Githurai and it involves buying and selling of fish to the local people. I purchase fish from Gikomba.

My business entails selling various kind of fish such as omena and tilapia. The local people like fish thus I have many customers but am not in position to meet their demand because of limited capital thus I kindly request you to consider support my business.

Profit from my business is used for upkeep, children education and savings hence I will use part of my savings to repay the loan.

My average monthly sales is Kshs 45000 and the average expenses is Kshs 25000 and profit is Kshs 20 000.

Loan Proposal

Am grateful for lenders who entrusted me with the first loan as it used it well. My business has been growing slow by slow and now I have introduced preparing small meals served with fish stew and I have received more demand despite I started with few equipment to accomodate at most 10 people. The demand has been on the rise thus I want to purchase 10 chairs at total cost of kshs 5300, 5 tables at total cost of kshs 5000, plates at total cost of Kshs 3700 and 2 big cooking pot at total cost of Kshs 2820.
