About Me

my name is Zacharia, i am 25years old. i come from a family of 8. i spent most of childhood in Nairobi, Kariobangi estate and started schooling there. in 1996, my family relocated to the rural due to hard times we face in Nairobi.
i like football since childhood and continued to train even in the rural. the schools in rural were cheaper so i spent all time there in primary and secondary school.
i came back to town this time in Thika after school in 2008 and stayed with a friend. i never gave up to education, i started attending computer classes. i then joined a sports for development organization that was starting in this slum. likely enough, a friend from the organization helped join the university in the year 2013. he helped pay for first year before his job ended. I must say am greatful to Zidisha for loaning me money that helped in my last semester and i managed to graduate in December 2017.

My Business

I have been in A sport for development organization since the year 2008. After my graduation in Bachelor in Development study, I resolved to do what am most passionate about.
I mentor youth groups and teams in Peace building. I live in a society where most kids are bred with high degree of isolation from other tribe by the action or speeches of there parents or political leaders. Am out to mentor the next generation peace ambassadors.

Loan Proposal

i am a virtual student, i sturdy through the internet. if i get the loan, it will help purchase bundles for sturdy. once i qualify for greater loan, it shall help me in paying fees.
it will also help in transport when am doing exams since i always need to travel to the university to take my exams at the end of every semester.
