About Me

My name is Joyce, married with one daughter who is in class four. I completed my class eight course and due to lack of fees I could not go further. My parents decided to pay for a tailoring course of which now I am employed as a tailor in Minjoro Uniforms in Rongai town. We deal majorly with school uniforms though we sell some other items like shoes and home clothes.
I worked in this shop for 4 years and it has seen me pay school fees for my daughter and meet some other needs.
After being informed of Zidisha, I got so much interested with it knowing that I will surely accomplish my dream of opening my own shop. With the little salary I have managed to buy my own sawing machine and i intend God willing to open my own business. I am sure I will make it because the experience I have will guide me as I have known how to deal with customers, meeting their demands and more so retaining them.

My Business

After working for these 4 years I am confident that I will make it on my own. Thus it has been my dream to start and maintain my business while making enough to cater for my family needs as well as even employing others.
I am expecting to make at least Ksh. 3,000 at the start of my business and keep on improving my business according to the demands and tastes of my customers.
starting this business at my doorstep centre i.e where I live will enable me to even work harder and have more advantage as there is no traveling like the way I currently do.
If I get this loan I will buy the materials to start with because I already have a sawing machine for the same. To maintain my consistent payment of loan, before the business picks up I will use income from my milk sales where I normally get at least Ksh. 4,500 - 5,000 per month thus I believe I will comfortably repay my loan without any stress.

Loan Proposal

As indicated in my profile this money will go along way in purchasing for me a new machine in which I will now be independent with my business. As for now I am still employed and whatever I get is not enough to cater for my needs. Therefore if I get this loan I will move to a new premise where I had already done the research and found it to be good for my business.
The amount I have saved will be used to buy materials and add to the loan I will get in buying the machine.
