Second hand & new brand cloth selling

About Me

I am a God fearing woman ,married with three children all are in school ,one in secondary another one in primary and the last one in nursery school I am a form four liver with a C plain grade from Ribe Girls secondary school . I started this business to cater for my children s school fees and generally sustain my family daily life after I struggled to make ends meet for almost five years without success and that was when my dear husband was who was our bread winner was sucked off at job, hence life became so difficult it was survival for the fittest. Lucky enough I got a loan from my pastor and I chose to keep and sell cloth materials and I have been in that business for more than four years now with no regrets. The business is doing well as it is very easy to run and not easy to get a loss .My business is profitable as most of my customers are people from around me and the friends from my church who normally gave me orders for materials especially during weddings and other functions. I get a net profit of two thousand a day as net profit.

My Business

I run a multipurpose shop whereby I sell cloth materials , hand bags and food commodities at a strategic place whereby I get customers from the Pwani University ,the motor cyclists known as (bodaboda),there is also a police post and the district hospital is just a few meters from my place. Most of the people prefer my commodities as I handle my commodities professional, I employ workers who have lots of experience and who attracts customers . I normally sell my commodities at a cheap price as I get hem at a cheap price at Mombasa town where most of my competitors do not know the shop. I get two thousand five hundred shillings a day from the shop and at the end of the month I get more than forty thousand shillings from the material and hand bags which I normally buy it from Mombasa town which is about fifty kilometers away from my place. All in all given an opportunity I would increase the commodities especially the materials and hand bags as the Christmas festival is around the corner and ultimately I would earn a lot.

Loan Proposal

Thank you so much for this opportunity. I will use this loan to add more new clothes and and second hand cloth. I am very sure that i will be in a position to make a lot of profit as most customers already are asking for the materials. I will add more cloth from Nairobi and also market them in the nearest institution which is pwani university. My customers are from pwani university and are I believe that are willing to buy my new clothes.
