My name is Raymond Safi Ngumbao born and raised in a humble and God fearing family of six me being the fourth born. I was born in the year 1984 in Chilulu sub-location in Kilifi county. I went to Chilulu Primary school then later joined Ribe Boys High School. After I accomplished my studies I used to look after my father's flock as I waited for my results. Results were announced and i thank the almighty God I had passed very well. By that time my dady was still working as a civil servants so I was taken to Mombasa college of accountancy for a CPA course of a duration of 2 years. After my college I worked as a sales executive at Barclay's bank and my first salary was KES 10000. I used this to help my family since the luggage was too heavy for my dady and saved some for myself. After a period of time I decided to quit my job in order to start my own business.
My boutique business did really well many thanks to my lenders and zidisha community at whole for turning my dreams into reality. I managed to save the profit and opened another business within the same town involving buying and selling of building materials such as ; river sand, bricks, ballast, timber among others. The buying price and the selling price of the materials are as follows;
BP SP
1 tonne river sand @ 650/= 1100/=
1 brick @ 15/= 30/=
1 tonne of ballast @ 850/= 1400/=
In my opinion and given the period I have been into this business, the profit income has been high since I operate with a revenue license of Kshs 3000/= per year. I started with a capital of Kshs 40000/= and although the demand is very high, I am currently running short of capital which is hindering me in many ways of boosting my business. The competition is high but I have managed to obtain regular customers due to the provision of good services such as fair prices and high quality materials as my aim is to make services available to all.
my wish is to buy more building materials due to the high demand of these materials from my customers. i need around $430 to boost my capital and i expect a profit income of upto 65% in return.
the prices of the materials are as follows;
20 tonnes of river sand @$130
18 tonnes of ballast @$153
1000 bricks @ $150
Upon receiving this loan, my biggest aim is generating profit which in the long run will aid me in paying this loan, growing my business and also being able to support my family. may God bless my lenders and the whole of zidisha community.
Thanks you, kindly regards from my family.
