My name is Jemimah Muriuki. My friends nicknamed me Shan because i always look jovial.I completed my secondary education in the year 2011 and Joined Kenya Medical Training college in the year 2012. Despite the fact that i came from humble background, that did not hinder me from pursuing my dream career of being a dentist.I started my business early 2014.This was when i got school bursary from two organization which i had applied earlier. i paid my school fee in full and remaining amount purchased some second hand cloths,''mitumba'' which i started selling to my college mates.
People in my land i can say they are unique in the sense that they are very welcoming and hospitable.I would like my children to pursue their dream choice and become what they want in life.
Thank you for the opportunity again. I ventured in the business of selling second hand cloths to my college mates. These cloths are ever in high demand especially in colleges since they are affordable to students who are not employed but depend on their parents and guardians. What i can say is that they are pocket friendly. I started this business with around 50 dollars. i generate income of approximately 30 dollars every months which i use to increase my stock and also pay for my bills.
With the loan that am applying for, am planning to setup a small shop where i will be stocking my cloths and where i will retail from. this will give me enough space to increase my stock and to be able to reach walk in customers thus increasing my sales.
thank you in advance as you prepair to fund my loan
