About Me

My name is Chrispine Otama. I am 34 yrs old and single, the first born among 5. I took my primary and secondary education in Nyanza, then later went to Bible college and studied in the School of Ministry and Theology. After the studies, I began "Tusaidiane Home Centre." Tusaidiane is Kiswahili for "let's help one another." This has attracted people from different classes and groups of people. It is also home for all. It is a place where the low voice in the society can find hope in life. We teach, motivate, empower and train on technical skills targeting drug addicts, street children, prostitutes, and ladies to help them get something to sustain their lives.

My Business

At Tusaidiane Home Centre, I look forward to buying computers, sewing machines, carpentry equipment, and salon equipment to help train. With this Zidisha loan, I am looking forward to buy one sewing machine, which costs KES 10,000. With 16 trainees at the moment, paying KES 1,000 per month for six months, I am able to pay rents and cater for the needs of the Home's activities. This will help me repay back the Zidisha loans. This machine will also help to give moral encouragement to the trainees and prepare them for life and be responsible in the society.

Loan Proposal

I am applying for KES 8,900 (100 dollars) to help me finance the purchase of a sewing machine that will be useful in training the less privileged in the society. This will be an addition to the two that we now have, which are insufficient because this is the only equipment we have at the moment. There is so far great need and I am encouraged that we shall in the long run have more trainees to train.
