About Me

I am Miss Matilda Ayeltige,a graduate with Bachelor of Art in Rural and community development from the Presbyterian University College Ghana and a Master of Philosophy in Development Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
I am passionate about impacting the youth through skills training and talent development.
During my formal educational journey i developed my passion as well which is Fashion and Design. After my masters degree i decided to set up a fashion training center where girls have the opportunity to develop their talent and also acquire knowledge and skills. I am currently training 6 girls hoping to empower them economically, so as to reduce poverty and also boost their self confidence.

My Business

The name of my business is Anointed Hands Creative Design and Fashion. It is situated in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana. I do design clothing and anything related to sewing. I am into training young girls who want to acquire skills in the fashion and design sector. Currently, I have 6 girls, which one is a Senior high school student who want to acquire skills while schooling.
I have a target which is to train 1000 young girls within 10years to be economically empowered and self confident in the Upper East Region which is one of the poorer regions in Ghana.
I also design clothing and sell to the general public
My source of income comes mainly from my sales and sometimes from data collection job with my academic certificate.
Lack of finance, training equipment and space are the main challenges of my business
when these challenges are addressed i trust my objective will be achieved to the benefit of society.

Project Proposal

I would like to get a space so as to put up a structure where I can train and assist young girls to develop their sewing and other skills

    I have received Gh1,526
I used it to buy 8bags of cement currently and a trip of sand as a start for our skills development center for girls.
Thank you to lenders from Zidisha community for giving us hope
However, I trust the start period for the loan repayment is very very short. At least 3-4 weeks should be given before repayment start.
Within that period one might have used the loan, had little profit and repayment can be done. My humble opinion.
My second concern, I am done with repayment but it has not reflected on my app. How long do I have to wait before I can see that I have paid?
Once again thank you to all
Let us keeping supporting each other
    Together we will have grow.

•Thank you to all members for contributing to this life changing project. As stated in the write up about the project thus Skills development, for the mean time I will use this money to get a space as a start for the Skills Development Center.

•This money will help me stay on track and focus on achieving the stated purpose. It will also give hope to myself and the girls whose desire is to develop their sewing and other skills once the journey have started.

    • Once again I say thank you so much for making this dream possible. It is my hope that one day hopefully when we grow and build a big company, you will travel to Ghana to see the wonderful display of sewed items from our girls who will benefit from this project
    Together we grow
    Thank you
