About Me

I am Mohamed Bahero. I come from Lamu, Kenya, but currently I live in Nairobi.

I own and run an electronics shop, where I sell small household gadgets and electrical supplies. I started the business in 2016. I chose this kind of business because of knowledge I have about electronics.

The profits I get from my shop, I use to settle household bills and to reinvest in my business to help it grow.

I am married and blessed with three children, who are still in school. I love spending time with my kids and I always spend a day on the weekends with them, to bond with them when they're home.

My Business

As mentioned in the previous section, I own an electronics shop, where I sell small household gadgets and electrical supplies.

I sell many different items, such as: fans, sub-woofers, electric jugs, power extension cords, and much more.

I decided to go into this business because of the knowledge I have about electronics, which has helped me to market my products as well as to help my customers make a decision when it comes to buying a gadget.

Loan Proposal

I hope you all are well and safe during this pandemic.

Regarding this loan, I would use it to stock up my shop with more small household appliances.

Right now, imports are low, so being able to get enough stock would help me to keep my business going.

I would invest KES 8000 to get power extension cables (at KES 400 each). I also would invest KES 8000 to get electric kettles (at KES 800 each). Then, the remaining KES 7000, I would use to get enough stock of power cords.

Thank you, in advance, for the support.
May God be with you and your families during this trying time.

Income Source

Risk & Revenue Information: I am still opening my shop to offer services to customers, but I also am advertising my products on online platforms, such as: "Jiji.co.ke" and "Pigiame," where I place photos of the items I have for sale, along with my contact information so that buyers can get in touch with me. When they do, we arrange delivery to their home or to another requested location. I believe this will keep me going and that I would be able to repay my loan.
