I am Caroline Akinyi, I am 27 years old I am married to Joshua and have three children Mary ,Esther and John . I went to lwanya secondary school and then joined kakamega polytechnic for course dress making and design.
I did not have a start capital to start my own business and i had to borrow money from a friend to buy my first sewing machine . I worked from the house for a couple of months and raised money to repay the loan. I then borrowed another loan from a friend and rented a business premise to start the business. the business is fairing on well and i am expanding it to be the best designer shop .
My first born daughter Esther wants to be a nurse, the second born Mary is wants to be a doctor ,while my last born is still young.
I play basketball during my free time and watch movies too.I like making friends and meeting new people.
I design and make African wear for both men and women. Kids cloths and school uniforms. I wait for customers to come and choose design ,and then make cloths to their taste and preference.
I choose the business because I had passion in the business and because it was also very profitable.
In a month my operational costs are average $200 and my revenues are average $400 . I use the profits from my business to pay fees for my children, support my aging parents and save for reinvestment in the business.
Thank you for reading my profile.
