About Me

I am Bonface Barasa, I grew up in humble background and had the opportunity to study only up to to second year in secondary school , I did not get an opportunity to finish secondary education due to lack of school fees. I had no otherwise but to drop out of school.
I started doing ironing in a verendah in a Butere, the business picked up well and gave my daily bread. I saved enough money and started training as a tailor. I concentrated fully on the training and had to employ someone to take care of the business. After a year of hard work I was an accomplished tailor. I worked harder and bought a sewing machine and opened up a gentlemen design shop and a cleaning service business. The business is doing well and I am looking for resources for expansion.
I am still single but would love to have a family in future once I am financially stable
I love soccer and during my free time I play soccer with friends. Thank you for reading my profile

My Business

I design and make gentlemen suits and also provide cleaning and Ironing services in my shop. timely delivery and honesty has always been my secret of attracting and retaining customers.
i choose these business because I had a lot interest in the field and the business is very profitable.
I spend $150 per month on water and electricity . my monthly revenues is $400 per month
I use my money to buy food for my family ,pay fees for my brothers and reinvest in the business.

Loan Proposal

given the loan,I would use the money to buy solar system that would be used in my shop for lighting and ironing . the solar lamp costs $250 and I would use my savings to add to the loan. the solar panel would help me reduce production cost through a sharp cut in the cost of electricity. Thank you in advance.
