About Me

My name is Solomon Oppong and i am a man of 30 years. I come from Wenchi in the Brong Ahafo Region. I started my basic school at Presbyterian basic school in Wenchi. i went to settle with my father in Techiman when i completed junior high school where i attended Techiman senior high school and studied visual art. The name of my parents are Mr. and Mrs. Oppong, i have three sisters and one brother. My father was an air condition repairer so when I moved to stay with him, i used to visit his shop whenever i close from school. As a result i learned the work. I developed interest in the work when i was in senior high school so my father trained me to become a good air condition mechanic, so it was no wonder i started working in the shop after completing senior high school. I am married and i have seven months old daughter, my hobbies are chatting with friend and playing football. My favorite food is fufu and groundnut soup.

My Business

I have worked in my shop since i completed senior high school in 2012.i gained interest in air condition repairs when i was in the senior high because it was my father's occupation. My father trained me to be a specialist in air condition repairs so immediately i finished school i took over the shop from him as he has become an old and weak man, my father was able to care for his family through his earnings from the shop. Since my father doesn't work any longer, I take the responsibility of the family by paying my younger siblings school fess and providing their meals at home. In my shop i repair and install different sizes of air conditions and also sell various accessories of air condition. I sell accessories like fans, compressors, capacitors, just to mention a few. This work helps neighbors who use air condition at home and at work when their air conditions develops fault. I have three apprentices together with my younger brother who helps me in the shop after he closes from school. One of the apprentice was with my father before i started working in the shop. It is my dream to become a great air condition repairer in the future in order to help the young people who do not go higher in education but have interest in vocational skill to learn air condition repairs as a trade. I need extra money to purchase more air condition parts to sell to my customers when they come with a problem in order not buy such accessories from other vendors. If i get the i hope loan it will increase my profit margin by 35%.

Loan Proposal

My dear lenders i wish to apply for a loan
of $210.00 to expand my air condition repairs
shop. If this loan is given to me i will use it
to buy parts of air condition that i use in the
repairs of air conditions such as evaporators for $90, power cables for $70 and drainage system for $50. These parts will make me serve my customers properly when they bring faulty air conditions. When this loan is given to me it will increase my profit margin so my lenders help me and i will repay my loan on time, thank you.
