About Me

My name is Audrey Kalenga. I was born in 1987 in Kitwe (copperbelt) in Zambia. I am married with 2 children, a boy and a girl, and one of them is at preschool and the other is still 1yr 9months. I never completed my high school level because both parents were not able to manage to pay for my school because they were poor. I am coming from a family of 4 and I am the second born. My elder sister completed her grade 12 but she can't go to further studies due to money. That is why I started planning to look for a loan to boost my business, so that I could manage to help my elder sister and my other siblings to go to school and also to finish my education. My husband helped me with his small earnings to buy wigs for my small hair salon. My sister is currently helping me to manage my beauty shop, and it is really doing fine.

My Business

I started by plaiting traditional hair, and I got advantage of the market. I used to receive a lot of people from different towns, then I saw the demand for other styles like wigs but I did not have enough to order for my customers. Other customers used to come with their wigs. So, I got some money from the same and ordered a few, but they could not last for a week, then I thought of ordering many in order to manage all the customers. After I saw it to be a good idea to have everything in one place, I met Mr. Ferdnard who told me about Zidisha, and that is how I was so fast to find out about Zidisha. I got interested in applying for a loan so that I could order hair dressers, hair dryers, different types of wigs, new beauty cosmetics (like many types of cream) as per my customer requests. I really want to order everything that is supposed to be there.

Loan Proposal

I still need to reorder the new and latest hair styles for my salon to attract more customers in town. I have made as much of ZMW 2500. Thank you, my Lenders, once again for making my life easier. This time around, I will expand more because I have a chance of winning contracts from wedding organizers, and they will always count on my salon for my services.

This time around, I will expand more because i have a chance of winning contracts from wedding organizers, and they will always count on my saloon for my services. this is my Budget for the next Loan. I will Get 6 (six) 2017 New Professional 2300W Powerful Hair Dryer with Negative Ion Generator $15x6= $90, And then i get 1 box of 100% Human Hair New Fashion High Quality Special Cool Medium Curly Blonde Wig 10 Inches at $146.51 and also 2(two) New Style Professional 48W LED UV Gel Light Polish Nail Dryer at $16x2=$32 totaling to $268.51. And the balance of $5 will be used for1(one) bottle hair spray. And i have already done the order, I am just waiting for my Loan to be fully funded. Thanks!
