About Me

My name is Osman Kaula Wechuli.I was born in the year 1974 in in former Kakamega District Now Kakamega County in Western Kenya Province. I was born in a very poor family of of eight siblings, two girls and six boys.
I went School through a lot of difficulties in that my parent could raise enough School fees for all of us as students in primary Schools and in secondary Schools in which we were all in School at the same time.
I went to Primary School between the year 1981 to the year 1988 in Mabinj.
And between the year 1991 to the year 1994 at Malava boys high School.
Then in the year 1996 I went to further studies in Nairobi Technical Training Institute taking the electrical wiring and Computer course .
I started my own Business after I had completed the course and got some money my first employer which I did for a number of years.
What is unique n this land where am coming from is that you are expected to provided for you extended family and relatives even if you are not earning from any source so long as you taken to School and completed.
Am now married and have four Kids one girl and three boys who are in Primary School/
My two children want to become Teachers when they grow up and two of them wants to become Business people when they grow up.
My main hobby is Singing with my kids in my free time.

My Business

I am providing internet services to my customers in this region and beyond.
The internet services is so useful in this region because many many University student of Masinde Muliro are so desperate for the internet for study research therefore it is in great demand and very useful.
I chose this kind of business because two reasons 1. I ti in line of what I studied
2.There is ready market .
My typical cost is 40,000 KES
I use the profit I get in this Business as follows
1.School fees for my children =========20,000KES.
2.Reinvestment in growing the business=5,000KES.
3.Home improvements=============10,000KES.
4.Church activities=================2,000KES.
And I hope that this will increase soon as we continues to grow in this business .

Loan Proposal

Would like to like to expand my business to another level bearing in mind that in addition to the ICT sector, am looking forward to opening another business alongside the existing one. Actually although the money may not be enough,i have been trying my level best to run motor bike spare parts. Have even located a small shop in kitale town.
