My elder son would like to be a pilot. One day a helicopter landed where we stay. He was very happy and said that he would like to fly the way that pilot flew that helicopter. Isn't that amazing? Am very happy and proud mum because am seeing the dream of my son coming true as he is working hard and smart at school to achieve his dream. Am pretty sure that with the help of zidisha my son is going to make his dream come true. Please help me see my son's dream come true.
I sell beauty products i.e wigs, weaves, foundations, braids, body lotions, earings, other hair products etc and I started with a capital of 2500 kshs and right now I have a capital base of 50000 kenya shillings. My busines is really growing and is with the help of zidisha that am able to make this step. I'm very impressed with the progress I have made so far.
In this error of covid 19, I would like to have piped water outside my shop to enable cleanliness and also help in reducing the spread of the disease. This will cost about $10 and then add more stock to my business. The remaining $60 will be used to buy weaves, nail gels, wigs, braids, combs, earings, hair lotions and sprays.
I understand business has gone down during this time but this has not affected my business so much because of the kind of products and services I offer and the niche of customers who patronize my business. Ladies like looking good and presentable even when the times are not good. They will do everything to look smart. For this reason, I have always received customers in my shop. Before the pandemic, I used to sell an average of $17 but with the coming of pandemic, it has reduced to $15 per week. This still gives me hope as most businesses have closed as the difference is not so much.
