About Me

My name is Patrick Njoroge Wamani.I am from a family of five two girls and three boys .I am married and a father of one.My residence is Kitale town, Trans Nzoia County, in Rift valley province. My parents divorced when I was in high school and my school life became very hard. I lived with my mother and two of my younger siblings who are still in school. Although I faced many challenges, I was able to successfully complete my high school education and proceeded to college through government bursaries and help from well-wishers where I studied Diploma in Information Technology (IT).
After graduating from college, I was employed in a company located in kitale town as sales representative. I was in charge of selling computers and computer accessories. I decided to start my own business having acquired experience from the employment. I started this business to earn a living and to be financially independent. I have been using the income from the business to pay rent, electricity bill, invest further and to support my family.
During my free time, I enjoy watching documentaries, reading, swimming, socializing and travelling.

My Business

I have a movie store located at the Kitale Central business district (CBD).I started this business in 2010.I sell latest movies and music, computer accessories i.e flash disks, memory cards, head phones, blank cds,computer keyboards etc.In the area there is a great demand for these services since it is surrounded by densely populated estates who come to town for movies and other accessories. I have many clients due to my good services.I chose this kind of business since i have prior experience and not many investors have explored this area of business.
My monthly income is around $300, through which I pay rent and other monthly bills including paying school fees for my younger siblings.I have one employee who we work with in the shop.I am aiming at buying a duplicator machine which will be able to burn 15 dvds at ago,through this I will be able to serve many customers in a short period hence increasing my profit by 50%.

Loan Proposal

When granted the zidisha loan I will be able to add my stock by purchasing:-
Blank CDs/DVDs,flash-disks,memory cards and phone power banks.
In doing this I will be able to maximize my stock gaining confidence from my customers, which will also increase my profits, making it possible to repay the loan in time as agreed and invest further.
The estimated budget is as follows
Blank CDs @ 500 per pack x 5 = ksh.2500/=
Blank DVDs @ 600 per pack x 4 = ksh.2400/=
Memory cards @ 300 x 5 =ksh 1500/=
Flash disks @ 400 x 2 =ksh 800/=
Power banks @ 800 x1 =ksh 800/=
