About Me
I am Juliet Chepkoech, 27 year old and recently married. I am a first born in a family of five and currently reside in Kaptembwo estate -outskirts of Nakuru town. Due to challenges in raising school fees, I could not study beyond form four. After series of challenges while idling at home, I decided to create my own employment by establishing a small fashion shop with the help of my mother and Zidisha first loan. Since then I have been trying to improve.
During my free time, I like traveling, visiting friends and family, reading inspirational books
My Business
I have a fashion shop where I sell ready made clothes especially ladies' and children wear. I run the shop myself and this is where I spend most of my time except on Sundays. The business has been a major source of income- supporting my upkeep and my mother. I recently got married and with the support of my husband relocated my business to a bigger room in a more strategic place and therefore planning to increase my stock.
With the new shop, I am looking forward to better business.
Loan Proposal
Thank you lenders for this noble work and my first loan. It really helped me get started with my fashion shop.
I recently moved to a new and better room and I am already seeing increase in my sales. I would therefore like to increase my stock to fit into the new premise as well as meet the demands of my new customers.
I will therefore spend $180 in sourcing new clothes and $20 on transport to and from Eastleigh- Nairobi where I acquire new clothes on wholesale.
From this, I expect a 30% increase in my net profits and would therefore pay the loan without a difficulty. The increased profits will also enable me save for other projects in future.
